Client-Collaborative Porch Project

I was brought on board a design and build project for the addition of a porch to a semi-detached house as part of its future-proofing renovations. I worked collaboratively with the client to produce a series of encaustic tiles for the inside of their porch.

I provided technical support from concept to production in order to facilitate the client’s involvement in the project. The process involved an initial concept meeting and a two-day encaustic tile making workshop delivered at their home.

The porch itself was designed and built by woodworker Angus Riddell.
